Import a file containing custom items

First you need to create a file containing all the items you would like to import according to the following format

https://ackera.wordpress.com/2011/07/16/i-want-to-create-my-own-item-databse-can-i-do-that/

Then, make sure the memory-card is available (no USB-cable should be attached). Press the menu button. Then select “import items”

The Ackera file-browser will be displayed, simply navigate to the file you have imported and tap on it. To navigate backwards, use the “back-button” on the phone. To close the file-browser without importing, hit the back-button several times.

i want to create my own item-databse. Can i do that?

Yes, use your favorite text-editor to create a custom file containing all the items you want to add. Copy the file to your phones external memory card according to the following format:

Example can be found at the bottom of this post. Lets have a closer look at apple.

Why is there almost no HowTo for diets?

The reason is that all these operations (except for adding or removing a meal from a diet) is performed exactly in the same manner for meals. Adding and removing a meal from a diet is also basically the same as adding or removing a food-item from a diet. For more inforamtion please have a look at: https://ackera.wordpress.com/category/howto/howto-meals/

How can i copy a diet

To copy a diet, in the diet-view, tap and hold on the diet you would like to make a copy of.

This will bring up a new dialog, tap on “copy”

Enter a name for the newly created diet and tap “OK”. (Name must be unique)
